Civility Session with Collaborative Professionals of Southeast Michigan
This 90-minute virtual session is hosted by the Collaborative Divorce Professionals of Southeast Michigan. Led by journalists and friends Nolan Finley and Stephen Henderson, the Civility Project introduces people to the concept of civility, why it’s important, and how to build it in your relationships, whether professional or personal. Our sessions teach people how to have difficult conversations with people who hold opposing perspectives and learning to listen to where the other side is coming from.
Birmingham Public Schools Civility Session
Birmingham Public Schools in Birmingham, Michigan, hosted a 90-minute Civility Session on Thursday, January 20, 2022, inviting journalists Nolan Finley and Stephen Henderson to lead the community in a discussion about civility and how to engage in civil conversations toward building understanding across divides. The session is facilitated by Lynne Golodner, with BPS Superintendent Dr. Embekka Roberson welcoming participants.
