Livingston Diversity Council virtual Civility Session
March 16, 2022 @ 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm
Nolan Finley and Stephen Henderson will lead a 90-minute virtual discussion of the importance of civility in these divided times. Participants will engage in two, small-group breakout sessions to discuss how they come to their beliefs and what prior experiences inform their politics. The program will include a deep dive into what civility is, how to build it in personal and professional relationships, and why civility is so important to ensure the future of our democracy.

The Livingston Diversity Council is a grass- roots organization of business people, private citizens, educators, government officials and clergy who live and work in Livingston County. We embrace and advocate for the virtues of diversity and inclusion within and for our community. Studies show that we all benefit from a diverse workforce and a welcoming community. Its mission is to lead the community to become more welcoming, harmonious and prosperous.
